This retreat is equally suitable for beginners and those experienced in Kundalini Yoga.

Each day, Elspeth will serve us a sumptuous menu of energetic and creative experiences (including kriyas, meditations and customized symbolic activities), which will fuel us to achieve our daily objectives and the overall intention of more fully knowing and being our true, divinely aligned selves.

Deliciously fresh and organic raw food, created by Gabriela will be the nourishing support to those experiences. During the assimilation time, participants are invited to use the InfraRed Sauna or Hot Tub for relaxation, detoxification and contemplation.

DAY 1: The Empty Cup
Clearing and releasing stagnant and blocked energy leaves ‘the Empty Cup’ which is open for receiving what is most beneficial to our existence in every moment.

(Welcome lunch, orientation, p.m. yoga and dinner)

DAY 2: Recipes for Radiance
As we activate and nourish the energy centres within us, we are able to more fully experience and express the vast potential of our personal power on all levels (mental, emotional, physical, energetic).

(Breakfast, lunch, dinner + a.m. and p.m. yoga)

DAY 3: Banquet of Blessings
Prosperity and Gratitude go hand in hand. Immersing and grounding ourselves in this basic awareness moves us forward with a fuller experience of the blessings that are served in every ‘now’.

The best way to understand what KUNDALINI YOGA is, is through one’s own direct experience. We each receive from this ancient technology exactly what we are meant to, in a way that no one else can put into words.

The experience of Kundalini Yoga is directed through:

  • Kriyas (sets of actions and postures designed in sequence to achieve specific effects)
  • Breathing techniques
  • Mudras (seals/locks created by hand positions, to channel energy flow in precise ways)
  • Meditation
  • The use of the sound vibrations (usually through mantras in the ancient sacred languages of Sanskrit, Gurmukhi and, sometimes, in English)

Kundalini Yoga is also referred to as the ‘Yoga of Awareness’ and ‘the Householder’s Yoga’ on account of its powerful, fast-track nature and ability to help expand consciousness amidst the daily challenges of life in today’s world.

Raw vegan food has the highest vibrational energy of all foods currently available to human beings. We feel the effects of this high vibration not just physically but also mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It’s like our soul awakens and there is no going back. Everything we do is suddenly informed by a clarity, an understanding that all life is connected. Raw food is so powerful and all-pervasive that it can provide the purest of foundations for a lifestyle that is empowering, respectful to nature and all living beings, and in tune with your truest self.

The retreat will be held at Gabriela and her husband Neil’s home The Coppice, just 1.5 miles east of Shaftesbury on the edge of ancient Dorset woodland. The Coppice is a consciously designed eco-home with many environmentally friendly features and a one acre wildlife garden on a south-facing slope. The expansive dining/living room and the double storey conservatory allow for an inspired connection with nature in any weather.
Shaftesbury is a treat to visit with the famous Gold Hill (featured in the classic Ridley Scott advert for Hovis Bread), Park Walk with the Abbey Ruins dating back to King Alfred, and a sweet little town centre with cafés, pubs and independent shops.
On booking you will receive full directions on how to get to The Coppice by car. The nearest train station is Gillingham from where a taxi to The Coppice costs approximately £20. The journey from London to Gillingham is 1hr 45mins to 2 hrs depending on the train you choose.
